The Fondation Hôpital de l'Enfant-Jésus is pleased to highlight a $10,000 donation made to the oncology clinic at Hôpital de l'Enfant-Jésus in Caraquet.
As part of a special lottery celebrating Atlantic Lottery's 50th anniversary, Ms. Denise Gionet won a prize that allowed her to donate $10,000 to the charitable organization of her choice. She selected the Fondation Hôpital de l'Enfant-Jésus to honour the oncology team that supported her husband with professionalism, compassion and kindness throughout his care journey.
By sharing her good fortune in this way, Ms. Gionet also wished to honour her husband's memory and express her gratitude to the team that made a difference for their family.
This gesture perfectly reflects the spirit of the Grateful Patient Program, which gives patients and their loved ones an opportunity to express their appreciation to the care teams who have had a meaningful impact on their experience at our hospital.
The donation will be dedicated to the oncology clinic and will support initiatives aimed at enhancing the experience of patients and their loved ones.
The Foundation extends its sincere thanks to Ms. Gionet for this heartfelt expression of gratitude, as well as to Atlantic Lottery for this initiative, which highlights the exceptional impact of healthcare teams in our communities.
